This book is way more than the title alone suggests.

It is really a book about sonship, about knowing and living our true identities as children of God. It could have had the sub title: ‘Living free and loved in your true given identity as son of God.

Sam has a fantastic, non judgmental way of writing and takes his reader on an intriguing, knowledgeable and engaging historical, personal and heavenly journey through the taboo and very controversial subject of masturbation.

I found his thoughts and words to be insightful and inspirational with each chapter spurring me onwards, encouraging me to step into a more authentic connection with my Heavenly Father. I had moments of deep revelation as I understood at a much deeper heart level the true meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice for me (and this despite being a Christian since a very young age). Jesus’ death has given me life and freedom to be as He is! AS HE IS, SO AM I! This truth alone is all I need in order to fully experience an abundant life free from sin and all its trappings; death, sickness, addiction, poverty, shame, fear, etc....

I truly believe that everyone, man and woman, could greatly benefit from reading this book which is all about our Father’s great love for us, his children. I am also excited to now have a new paradigme and understanding with which to introduce this previously tentative subject with my own pre teen children.

A subject which, for me previously, was shrouded in darkness, shame and dirt has now been exposed for what it truly is; a place of light, love, freedom and acceptance.

Sam has written this from a place of integrity, stating from the outset that it’s cool that we think different things.

Check this book out and ask yourself the questions that maybe you’ve never asked yourself or had asked of you before.

I am very happy that this book has been written. I gave my life to God when I was about 16 and all through my teens up until I was married at 27 I always thanked God for masturbation to relieve the sexual impulses which rise so easily in men. Masturbation, for me, was never linked with unclean desires, but for pleasure and the release of the sexual urge which could be so strong. I would always thank God for that release. I was always upset when people from the pulpit would condemn masturbation and call it a sin. I was sad that so many people would not know the freedom that it could give. I understand that masturbation linked with impure thoughts cannot be right but in this book a lengthy part is given to the importance of having relationship with God, which for a christian is paramount. I do hope this book will be an incredible blessing to many men.
